Johan Mattsson Wirkkala - If you're a direct paternal ancestor, please consider Y-DNA testing :)

I know genealogy isn't as interesting to everybody or that some don't feel the need to confirm things any further than what the family tree says. However I think we have a golden opportunity here to gain some real knowledge thanks to the Wirkkala line being so well documented up to Knut Kaustar. I have y-matched to some people on FTDNA who should be related through Johan Mattsson's grandfather, but they're not on Geni. Obviously it's always possible that the information is wrong and there have been surprises along the way, but I don't think we should be afraid of the truth.

There's now one possible y-result for this man, hopefully there will be more to either confirm or refute things!
