I have taken on a project that currently has me stumped. I am trying to locate any information about Ida Emilia Ingebrightsdatter Stilleberg AFTER she arrived at Ellis Island, N.Y., USA on 1-23-1916.
I am aware she was planning on traveling to Minneapolis, MN (Hennepin County) to visit her brother: Haakon Nikolai Stilleberg (later changed to Nelson once in America).
I can find no death records in Hennepin or Ramsey Counties (or in Minnesota) for her. I am also looking for her Maternal Uncle, John Olsen Nebb who traveled to America with Ida Emilia. I am looking for him in Otter Tail County, Minnesota where I believe he went once he left New York.
Ida "Disappears" once she arrives in America. No one really "disappears", they just are not easy to locate.
If anyone can help with additional information, I would very much appreciate your input.
