Hi there, how can I see who the shared ancestor is between my Barnard and Bosch family? All Barnard family shows that it is connected to me through my Dad, Paul Jacob Bosch Paul Jacob Bosch and not through my grandfather, (which I expected, Joseph Johannes Fourie Barnard or my mother Martha Jacoba Webb Martha Jacoba Webb nee Barnard?

Someone mentioned that I could possibly have a shared ancestor, but I do not know how to check it on my tree. Please help.

Also, how can I lock a profile when I am certain that the birth, death and marriage details are correct? Does Geni have a type of "training manual" on which is the best way to update a profile, who to merge with and when, or just some General Tips?
