I see that the Hunt book, Pound and Kester Families is being used as the only source. Much has been researched since Hunt put the book out in 1904. For Johannes Kuster and Elizabeth Cassel ... and for Johannes parents Paulus Kuster and Gertrude Doors ... I will start with Paulus & Gertrude, Paulus came over from Germany using Kuster, he kept that and in America all his children took on their own spellings, with Johannes using Kuster and Kester, all of Johannes children used Kester. All of Paulus's other children took other spellings. For Gertrude, her maiden name is Doors, not Streyper. This error began from most likely from a 1880 article in a magazine, written by Samuel Pennypacker, in which he says Gertrude was a sister of Jan and Willem Streypers, but she was in fact the sister-in-law of Jan, Gertrude's sister Anna married him. Gertrude's father is Theiss Doors. The Hunt book is great for all the families listed in it, and is highly one of the best, but his research was limited, no fault of his, I think he did an outstanding job. A newer book to use, for the Paulus & Gertrude Kusters is the Castor Association book, Jean White the editor, it is named, The Descendants of Paulus and Gertrude Kusters. If your working on these lines, this is recommended. The Hunt book can be found online, I have not found the White book online yet, it can be found at most genealogy libraries and also purchased from the Castor Association of America.
