I'm removing the info that follows in quotes since whoever posted it has confused this John Thomas Dunn with his father, Thomas Dunn, of Virginia, also referred to in other places as The Immigrant. This John Thomas Dunn, Sr., was born in Virginia in 1640, so it can't be the same Dunn who came to Jamestown from England in 1620. I would move it to "The Immigrant's" profile, but there is already several descriptive entries for him. Plus, there is a conflict in the data--what I have removed is the only source that lists the ship Thomas came over on as The Falcon. All other sources say it was The Temperance. I don't know which is more accurate, since I don't have access to any of the manifests themselves, so I'm sticking with what has been accepted as true the longest.
John Thomas is my 8th great grandfather. Someone did a nice bit of research to find this info, which I applaud, they just put it in the wrong profile.
"Arrived on the merchant ship The Falcon, sent by the Virginia Company in February 1620.
Dunn, Thomas, 1620 voyage, aged 14 at muster, servant to Sir George Yearley at James City, 1624.*
