John Collins - Any definite dates or details on his life?

Does anyone have any definitive dates or sources for this John? Any details about his life?
All i've seen online is variations of his and his wife's date/place of birth and death, posted online or in books, without any citations , ie:

John was born about 1645 (National Society Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims lineage book 8)
John was born about 1666 in Isle of Wight County, VA
John was born in King and Queen County, VA

John died March 5 1748 in Orange County, VA (The Good Intent: The Story and Heritage of a Fresno Family)
John died in 1748 in King and Queen County, VA
John died in 1693

Mary was from Orange County, VA (The Good Intent: The Story and Heritage of a Fresno Family)
Mary was from Norfolk County, VA, daughter of a "Mrs. Amy Wyatt." (The Brockman Scrapbook)
