I do not seem to be skilled enough to correct an error: Marina Fernandez de Vera is the daughter of Pedro Fernandez de Vera and Leonor Sanchez Negrin and was born around 1500 and Not the daughter of Diego de Vera who a century later arrived in Santa Fe and illegally married Maria Abendano. Somehow, I have her in both places and am unable to figure how to correct this. Can someone help? There is a fascinating academic article with Marina Fernandez de Vera as the subject on Academia.edu in Spanish that goes into some detail about her family and life in medieval Canary Islands. I used that as one of my sources. My next effort will be to learn how to attach that article onto her tree!
