Anyone have any (primary) sources that show that Jacques Mathieu Brunet is truly the son of Gilles de Brunet and Madeleine Rousseaux? This seems to be the missing link to show that Mathieu Brunet dit Letang and Marie Blanchard are "gateway ancestors."

the parents of Mathieu Brunet dit Létang were Jacques Brunet and Jacqueline Rachine.

The parents' marriage record is not listed so we do not know who Jacques's parents were. Surtout! (That`s It). The name is Jacques ONLY.
