So this is a confusing lady and we're trying to figure out if she indeed had had any children with Dr. James Taylor, "The Elder"

This is my understanding so far

Married 1 Dr James Taylor. Left him and returned to her mother's home, filed for divorce, which was not finalized as he died first. Some sources say "no issue of this marriage" and some say one child. He apparently had children by a mistress named Ursula and perhaps even by a first wife?

In her will she does not mention any Taylor children.

Married 2 Francis Slaughter. One surviving child, Francis Jr., but Geni has 2 daughters also.

Married 3 John Catlett, 4 children

Married 4 Amory Butler
