It looks like the descendants of Thomas Rice have been added to group 4 in the Rice Surname project in ftDNA.

I am very interested in this group as it appears my RICE line is from Thomas.

I am Kit 4897 in Group 4. This Rice family DNA grouping was started years ago and maintained by the Edmund Rice Association website. http://www.edmund-rice.org/haplotype.htm Looks like FTDNA just copied it without including the commentary.
