Correction, this Thomas Harris and wife Sarah Lane and her two named sisters are cited in a 1741 Surry Deed, (Not 1746) so this Thomas Harris was born c1720 and could not be the son of Thomas Harris and Hannah. This is documented in a Supplement to "The Five Thomas Harrises f Isle of Wight County Virginia" in 1995 by John A Brayton, proving that it was the Thomas Harris who died in Granville in 1761 that was actually the unborn son of Thomas Harris and Hannah. When Bute was formed from Granville in 1764, the probate proceedings of this Thomas Harris d1761 were transferred to Bute county as that was where the executor of his estate Theophilus Goodwin and his son who was named the guardian of Solomon Harris both lived. Please delete this profile as there are no known parents for the Thomas Harris d1770 \in Granville and none of his two children are traced.
