in response to an inquiry by Hans G. Jorgenson (circa 1953?):

"Hans Mortensen Heggelund, and Wife, Ingeborg Hansdatter,
Regarding the former, it is known that he died before the year 1702. Hs widow was engaged in business in Bergen. She must have died prior to August 12, 1713. The exact date is not known."

(We found the above letter folded up in Hans G. Jorgenson's book). Heggelund was spelled with two g's.
This letter contains information on at least 12 members of the Heggelund family tree that Hans G. Jorgenson used to write his books.
