Hi, James Elphick [Convict “Mangles” 1837] has a baptism date of 16 December 1837 at Barcombe, England when he was 27 years old.
However on this date he was in Australia having been convicted of highway robbery and departed England on “Mangles” on 18 March 1837 and arrived 10 July 1837.

CN anyone add any information on this baptism date?
