The timelines for Cynan ap Iago and Ranallt are problematic.
Wolcott makes a good case for there having been a conflation of two Cynans --
The inherited line is that Ranallt married Cynan ab Iago. But that Cynan was born c 1035. Wolcott proposes that Ranallt married Iago's brother Cynan, not Iago's son; that .Cynan would have been born c. 1014.

I propose that we make Cynan ab Iago into Cynan ab Idwal, add in the other cousins, and change the dates.
