Howdy all
Ive hit a brick wall with my 3rd great grandfather @ John McLeod born in Scotland and died in Ludlow NB 1821.
John fought in the 42nd Regiment of Foot / Black Watch fighting with the British during the Rev War. He was granted lands in New Brunswick for his service to the crown.
Im looking for his year and place of birth in Scotland, as well as his parents, and great grand parents.
Ive been told that John was of nobility.
