His CSA pension paperwork is filed under Dooly County, courtesy of GA virtual vault. There is a paper within that says he died July 7, 1921 in Worth County. He served in Co. F, 3rd Ala Vols Cav. having enlisted in Marion, Al. He surrendered near Greensboro, N.C.
