A brother named Albert Pearson Brown? Letter sent to me...

"Hi there,
I have sent this email to a few people researching Edward L Brown. This is a big ask i know. Cheers and thanks for reading.

So this is what i have sent:
Just a query please on your Brown family starting from Ezra Brown and Amy Sine.
I am looking for my friend because her great grandfather, Albert Pearson Brown, born 1836 in New Jersey, was we think in Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania in the 1850 census.

With him was his mother Amy Brown (mistranscribed as 33 yrs but actually 53 years old). An Ezra Brown was there on the 1840 census and had died by 1850 and is buried in the St Johns Lutheran Church in Easton. (no dates on headstone), but he was not in the 1850 census.

Albert Pearson Brown went on the whaling ships in the 1850's and went to the Chatham Islands, New Zealand where he was shipwrecked. He lists his place of birth as both New Jersey and Pennsylvania in records here as well as the Eastern States of America.

As far as we can see Amy and Ezra married in Amwell, Hunterdon County New Jersey 1817/19 and (proven by the will of William Sine, her father, in 1833) had the following children. Jacob S Brown (1850 census in Easton in his own family) born 1820 N.J. , William S Brown born 1822 N.J.(in his own family in Easton in 1850 census) Edward L Brown born 1831ish.

They went to Easton sometime between 1837 and 1840.

Also With their mother Amy in the 1850 census were the following: Nathan Brown born 1826 NJ, Mary Brown born 1828 NJ, Albert Brown born 1834 NJ, and Ellen Brown born 1837 NJ. While Nathan stayed in Easton till his death, William and his wife and Amy and the rest of the children up and went to Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana in about 1857.(they are on the 1860 census). Two of Amy Sines brothers also went to Indiana. Albert Pearson Brown in NZ had children named Edwin and Zelia. William S Brown named a daughter Zelia

I see by Edward L Brown's death cert (under Edwin L Brown 1918) that his parents were Ezra Brown and Amy (Aimey)Sine (written Sines and mistranscribed).

My question is this please - was Edward L Brown's son Albert Pearson Brown?? I see in the 1940 census that Albert P Brown had a grandson living with him named Pearson Brown.

Hoping you can help. Cheers and thanks Jo (and Cheryl) My email is jsunbeam@xtra.co.nz "
