With regard to her name being recorded on Geni as Anne de Bérault, de la Magere (also given as such in FFYP http://www.e-family.co.za/ffy/g6/p6971.htm) I think the ultimate source for this may be the passage by Boucher that I've put on the profile, in particular, the line "A widow La Maugere is known to have emigrated to the United Provinces with four children"

but a a sentence or so later, there is this describing our Anne as 'daughter of the Fontaines':
"on October 29, 1680, Anne de Berault, described as the Demoiselle des Fontaines, was received at Middelburg on the island of Walcheren in Zeeland with attestation from L’Aigle.141 This was probably Simond’s future wife and the couple may have met in Middelburg"

If she was also the "widow de la Maugere", where are the four children? Surely not left in Middelburg?

I'm going to change the 'de la Magere' suffix to 'Demoiselle des Fontaines', in the meantime - but I'm not irrevocably bonded to the idea :-)
