I believe your list of prominent Jews from Mainz should include R. Amnon from Magenza, author of the 'Piut' "Unetane Tokef" (ונתנה תוקף) recited every passover in the Haggadah.

No problem, I will add him. I just can't find his Geni profile,\. Can you give me a link to it?

Sincerely,

Yehuda Rubin

Even if R. Amnon does not exist in GENI, he should be added to the text acompanying the discussion, as he was definitely a very prominent Jew from Magenza (Mainz).

...and of course I was wrong about reciting ונתנה תוקף in the Seder, it shoulde be in Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. I don't know what went throgh my head when I wrote it... Sorry.

Have you found him?

Dr. Amikam Zur Thank you so much for pointing out this glaring absence!
Not only would R. Amnon's biographical details deeply enrich the Jews of Mainz Project, but it should certainly also be added to the Piyyutim and Rosh Hashanah Projects.

I will create the profile and add it to them soon.
