I have a lot of information on my g-g-grandfather except where he immigrated from and exactly when--probably 1872. His death certificate in US states he was born in October 1841, but not where (no country and no ville).

I found voting records that he is Flemish, and think he may be from East Flanders. Does anyone know where I can search online? Everything I click has old link.
