Info on Richard H. Patterson

I am looking for info on my step-grandfather, Richard Hutson(Hudson) born in Greene County, Tennessee in July 1888. I have no names of parents or siblings. He married my grandmother, Maggie Bair Cook, in Putnam County, WVA in 1930. He was a brick layer. My grandmother was divorced and came into the marriage with 3 children. She and Richard had 1 son, Ray, born in June 1932. Maggie and Richard divorced in 1944 and that is the only info I have on him. It seems as if he disappeared off the face of the earth.
