Has there been a decision taken on the place of origin - as per the note in the Overview: "Although country of origin was originaly thougth to be Nieukerk, (Belgium) it has been noted a spelling mistake for Nijkerk (Netherlands). It is noted in source and also in the geneology of the de Villiers families, that Jan Harmensz Steenkamp came from Nijkerk, Province Gelderland, Nerderland."?
