How is it possible that John Dering, Esq. MP who was born in 1513 is the father of Elizabeth Cromee De Falson who was born in 1480 ?

It wasn't, he wasn't, and she has now been cut adrift. (This also led to a merge between two different versions of John Dering, MP.)

Now just where does Elizabeth de Falson *really* belong?

Thanks for your response, Maven. According to Geni, you are my 19th cousin, once removed.

We're all cousins, here. :-)

Gee, comparing our photos I see no resemblances.

"Dale A. Hamlen is your 19th cousin once removed." That's about average, actually. And at that distance any resemblance would probably be coincidental. ;-)

OK.

John Dering (1504) is presumably the father of Elizabeth Cromee de Falson. But, Elizabeth appears also be the the daughter and co-heiress of John Crowner (Cromee). The first Elizabeth married Robert Henry Bourne, and they had a son Francis Bourne who also married an 'Elizabeth de Falson", but she is also known as the daughter of Mr. Austen....HELP!!!!

Can anyone shed light. I can only solve this riddle if John Dering (1504) is also the same person as John Crowner (Cromee) de Falson.......YIKES.
