I am hoping someone can help with more information on Marie and/or her ancestors. I have exhausted every search that I can think of and so far have hit a dead end. Also am wondering if anyone might have a idea of what this means or may mean. If she was a white woman why would she be working as a "day laborer" on indian land? I am under the impression that this meant indian slave labor. It may be impossible to find her ancestors.
