I am wondering if my 7th great grandmother who marred John Daughtry of VA was connected in some way to Roger Williams -"The Founder of Rhode Island" Her Father is Richard Williams and Sarah UNK. Richard Williams parents are John Williams and Margaret Penney. I think Richard Williams parents are wrong. I think Richard was born to John Williams and Elizabeth Ann Whitley. (Richard, would name his daughter Elizabeth in his mother\s honor) If this correct then perhaps I do have a connect to Roger Williams of Rhode Island
