Bill is buried in the American Cemetery in Cairo and there's a lot of interest in his life - he sparked a spiritual revival when he was a student at Yale and died in Egypt on his way to China in 1913. A number of people are helping to restore his grave here.

One question is what has become of his bible. Here's what is written about it in his biography.

"Some say that after his death, Borden's Bible was found and given to his mother. In it she found in one place the words "No Reserve" and a date placing the note shortly after he renounced his fortune in favor of missions. At a later point, he had written "No Retreat", dated shortly after his father told him that he would never let him work in the company ever again. Shortly before he died in Egypt, he added the phrase "No Regrets."

If you have any suggestions for family members who might know where his bible is it would be a great discovery.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Greg
