MY dad's family were all from UTRECHT district.....IF this man (husband of Judith Dirkse) was from there , it is possible... ? But I don not think so...

I just cannot see my mother and father being family, although it IS possibe.... her family where French Hugenots who emegrated to SOUTH AFRICA.

His family all REMAINED in Holland (places like Rumpt, Beest, Tricht, ect (UTRECHT) My dad was the FIRST Van Eck of his family to emegrate to South Africa only AFTER the second world war....

Catherina it is possible but you still have to bridge a gap of a few centuries wide

i know, i uploaded a tree of my family Lodeesen, under my heratage, Ii found this info in a drawer after my mother born van Eck died laste year . She married with Karel de Bruin, who was a son of Marinus the Bruin and Johanne Gesina Lodeesen.
Nos i have to pay for al this services, geni, my hereatege, and th dutch portal is not integrated woth my heratages, i don't have yhe time to re uplais everything. I know it is difficult to integrate systems, i could find the name of of my grandfather van Eck.
