Due to her date of birth being about 10 years before the birth of Chunky Jerry. It is assumed that she is a child from a previous relationship that Nancy had before marrying Nick or he was about 10 when he fathered her. Has anyone done any research on Nancy Grigsby's ancestry? Unfortunately due to all the intermingling amongst the different family surnames in the area DNA will not tell us anything. Heck, I can't even get a direct male path to Archdale given to me on this site or on ancestry since they want to take the shortest route to the ancestor, instead of going from grandfather back, it takes my grandmother to her mother to her father and then back, lol.
