Martin Engelmann - Cause of death

Please include a link to Martin and we'll investigate.

I was not able to find out that he committed suiucide. For example usually you have a look into the »Gedenkbuch« of the German Federal Archives – but there is no entry for Martin Engelmann, born 1910.
But if this oral history is correct – perhaps you find a source??

@Martin Engelmann.... (will this work? I'm new at this). My father, Peter, deserted the family when I was a baby, not seen again, died in 1974. My mother died in 2014, but certainly had no documentation on Martin. All the Engelmanns were in Germany (except Peter); I never knew any of them. One place I read that Martin married and had three children...couldn't find anything about that, either. I checked the Holocaust Museum site for Martin; not there.

Oops.... Peter died in 1954, not 1974.
