Who bought it and when:
There is an 1800 map of farms in Northampton township:
Northampton Township Farm Map 1800 > http://dla.library.upenn.edu/dla/pacscl/ead.html?fq=top_repository_...
archival material held at the Newtown Historic Association
It is some what confusing: When I rad through the many tabulations around https://www.ancestry.com/interactive/2497/33020_254643-00887/194124... (Pennsylvania, Tax and Exoneration, 1768-1801
Bucks Northampton), I see that there is no entry for John Roberts for the "cash tax" in the early 1780s... To me, this either means he had no hard currency or that he was dead and his estate held the farm...
A candidate son for John Roberts of Northampton is John ROberts of Warrington who was a Single Man in Pennsylvania, Tax and Exoneration, 1768-1801
Bucks Warrington on page 19 of 26 = https://www.ancestry.com/interactive/2497/33020_254643-01067?pid=19...
The date of this list is while John of Northampton is still alive.
Now, of course this John of Warrington may be the son of another Roberts altogether.
