Thank you very much. I'm trying to connect him to the world tree. If you know of any connections it would be most appreciated. In particular I'm trying to work out how he's descended from Rabbi Shlomo Ephraim Luntschitz, ABD Prague, auth. "Kli Yakar".

I'm not sure who uploaded the photo of Louis Shaposnick, but it should be in colour - not monotone. I assume that it was taken from the web. That image comes from a set of cigarette cards that was published just before the war. I have it in my collection - but I have to look for it - if I can find it I'll scan it. The problem is that it is a very young image - he made his name in his own right as the rabbi of Great Garden Street shul, and looked much older.

I uploaded it indeed from the web, like you say it was from a set of cigarette cards. By all means if you find better photos of him or other family members, or indeed more family members, please upload them. Thanks for your help.

Incidentally, this recording was not recorded on Shabbos - it was done specially for the film during the week.
