There is a book titled, 7 Pierce Families. It shows at least three spellings of the name. The family came from England, and settled in several states. My husband's branch, settled in New England. Other branches went to southern states. Members of the family are also found in Revolutionary War Pention Roles, Eddy Note Books, DAR records, Mayflower records, and T. Weston's History of Middleboro Massachusetts.
