Hi,
I added two charts under Media, which are actually two copies of one chart which overlap. The chart is from the book Alvaro de Melo, Portrait of a New Christian, 1982, by Herman Salomon Prins. It is based on research in Inquisition archives, and it shows the children of Pedro de Palacios with names totally different from the ones on Geni.com. There is no Palache among them.
Best, Ton
@Pedro de Palacios - Palacios
If there is another Pedro de Palacios, where is he? It is not reasonable to lay the burden of proof on me to proof that there exists no possible other Pedro de Palacios out there. The question is, is there another possible Pedro de Palacios out there and can you proof his existence? This is a somewhat philosophical question I admit. But if we are are both talking about a Pedro Palacios married to a certain Felipa Barboza in 16th century Portugal, then chances are that we are talking about the same Pedro, right? And Herman Salomon Prins shows who the descendants of this particular Pedro are and Isaac Palache is not among them.
