It looks like the parents of this profile cannot be correct: Sir Lawrence Withers, Kt.
Elizabeth Waters
The said family has a child that mathces their age and their parents age.
This family matches their children, so this John Waters most likely cannot be the son of this Lawerence.
Any sources on this? It is stated that there are three sources, but I cannot see any thing listed when selecting this property sheet on this profile.
If you can't see a source, it's behind a My Heritage paywall. And My Heritage matches are *not* authoritative.
I think this is your "Sir Lawrence Waters/Withers": http://www.historyofparliamentonline.org/volume/1558-1603/member/wi...
Two known sons (Fabian and George, in that order) and probably two daughters (Alice and Elizabeth). Wife unknown, parents unknown. Not in Shaw's "Knights" and not mentioned as a knight in any other reputable source (so he probably wasn't one).
Maven, I like your name. Appreciate your link a lot as I'm 3 Months new at all of this. The Lawrence Withers I'm looking at is from 1498*1574. Yes I thing John is out. I'm searching to establish Robert Croft and wife Anne or Alice Standish. He would be son of Richard and I hope Eleanor Cornwall. That is my block from moving upward. So many repeated names as you know. Thank you for your honesty. Take care, Steve
