A free ebook containing a great deal of information about clubs, social organizations, residences, etc., some of which were specific to Jewish families. It also contains home and business addresses for individuals.

You're welcome! This publication is also available for other years. I've found several historic documents on Google Books relating to Jewish communities in the western U.S.

Judith I noticed that you have created some profiles for members of the Koschland family. I've been researching them because I think they might be a keystone family that connects me, via DNA testing, to western German and Swiss families (Guggenheim, Moos, Schlesinger, etc.)

I found a ship's manifest showing Elkan and Max Koschland accompanying Alexander Garlick (ne Knobloch) and his family on their return trip to the U.S. (after spending about three years in Pudewitz). I don't know if they were relatives, friends, or business associates, however.

Are you related to the Koschland family? Do you know if/how they might be related to Prussian families?

I can't wait to take a look at this.
