The Kemmena name (and many diverse variations) shows up in Hackensack and Tappan prior to his birth, Before then ther is not much on the record.

As Dr. Englebert married into the van Beurens of Hackensack we may only guess that he was from that area.

From my perspective, being of a Ryerson/Rapalje/van Beuren/Cuyper descent, it makes cultural sense that Engelbert Kemmena would have married a van Beuran as Kemmenas married in to the same line before his birth.

One of the reasons this branch of the WFT is so infrequently researched is because Englebert and Elizabeth have no descendants.
