Hello - I came across the following 'Jean' while merging some other profiles into this tree:
Jean Perrault

he has the same date of birth and same parents, but a different date of death.

Does anyone have anything definitive on the date of death of this Jean Perrault?

I'd say July 24, 1655. Very unlikely he died in 1718 at 105.

Or perhaps they're not the same?

One of them traveled to Canada and had children, while the other died in Paris. It is possible they were twins, maybe they had more unique names that have been lost to time?

I agree 105 years is rather old, but that's what the master profile says... I think we should go back to the best sources. Anyone have access to good records on this fellow?

I didn't find and records on his death. WikiTree and FamilySearch trees have his death as 1655, though they vary on if he died in France or Canada.

Here is a FrancoGene entry, which I consider a reliable site - no date, but has his death as in France, but makes a note of

So, I'm not sure how accurate his parents are either.
