I raise a similar point over on Scots Abroad:

Does this have to be just for notable people as we need a project for all the ordinary people involved in the English diaspora. The Scottish one was change by June but I just wanted to flag this up first in case anyone objected.
At the moment we have quite a few specialist projects dealing with everyone involved with a specific subset of English migration (the one for the Cornish who moved to Cornwall caught my eye) but this currently only deals with notables, so we either need to refocus this one on everyone or start a new one for all those who left England for other lands that would be the parent of all the various projects.
I also agree about the need for a Welsh one, I was looking around for something similar. To complete the set I assume we'd also want one for Channel Islanders and the Northern Irish (or is the latter too recentist and it'd go under the Irish diaspora project? The latter might be considered politically sensitive from some quarters...).
Here is an example: Mary Anne Radford
Born in Guernsey, died in Queensland - she wouldn't really fit in "English Abroad" or "English Settlement in Queensland".
