Wss the Roesser family from Elsoff possibly Jewish?

Here are the names of the parents and their son who may be my ancestor who immigrated to the US in 1936 on the ship Harle and worked as a gunsmith in Lancaster, PA. The sign memorializing the house in which he lived refers to him as Mathias Rosser:

Parents: Debess Roesser, , and “Maria”, possible mother

Their son: , “Matheus Roesser” baptized on January 2, 1709, at EVANGELISCH,ELSOFF,WESTFALEN,PRUSSIA (Elsoff, Germany).

This information apparently came from something called the "Deutschland Geburten und Taufen, 1558-1898," database. I do not nothing any about it other than its name.

My ancestor who lived in Lancaster, PA, was born in Germany in January of 1708 and died in 1771.

According to 23andme, I am about 5% Anastazi Jew, but my great great grandmother apparently was Jewish, so maybe that accounts for all of my Jewish ancestry. I am not sure.
