What Sources do we have to prove he arrived in the Cape? http://huguenots-france.org/france/refuge/afrique_sud/embarques.htm has only his wife, Marquerite de France, SM/PROG, arriving in the Cape in 1688 with her son Nicolas M. de Lanoy and daughterMarie de Lanoy, SM . She dies soon after arriving.

Sharon I have in the Hugenote 100 years- Marguerite de France came from Guines and/or Clais (Picardie) on 1688 arrived Married to Nicolaas de Lanoy 3 sons, 2 daughters.

Is that from Coertzen? Delia Robertson's FFYP cites him too. I wish we could find the primary sources.

Yip. Coertzen
I also wish we could find all primary sources.

Ja, I'll leave him as is then - just logging my thought that he might not have arrived. Maybe we'll track down the sources one day.
