Booyens doesn't think he got on the China: "...Jean Rogier, who some will claim to be on the ship. Two men named Jean Roger appear in the books; one from Picardie early in 1687 and a Jean Antoine Roger from le Bousqet (near Spain) in October 1687" http://members.shaw.ca/cliffwoodfogge/Documents/China4thEdition.pdf
but if you have a deathdate & place for him, that seems to contradict that.
