Reminded of Yma Sumac by today's Google Doodle, I went looking and *didn't* find her on Geni ... but a "Google search" of Geni.com did find mention of her in the About for Gregory Dawson, impressario & artist ... with mention of many famous folks who went through his cabaret in NY City. I've added links (in Greg's About) to some of the names mentioned which I found on Geni; it might be nice to see if we can get some more of them added.
