I have been searching for the mother of John Hogan and his sibilings. I have seen it suggested that Susan Palmer was their mother but can't find any information to verify it. I was wondering how you came about having Ellen as the mother. Can you verify it with a census or birth or marriage records? Or was it just knowen in your family that thats who she is?
I have census records that show that the father of John ( married to Ann Donovan ) is John Hogan born 1793 Ireland and died 1870 in Bartholomew River NB. So that would make him Ellen's husband.
I would really appreciate any information that you could tell me.
