Profiles Mentioned:

William Andrews or Anders; John Andrews or Anders; John William Andrews or Anders. Born in England, Scotland, or Northern Ireland in abt. 1765-1780; Frederick Thomas Andrews, born in 1812, John Anders/Andrews, born in 1818 and William James Andrews/Anders born in 1808 were all born in Loudoun County, Virginia. They were either brothers or cousins. If the original man was John or John William then he is the same man that was murdered in Loudoun County, Virginia in 1818 by Hudson Overfield. Some records on the murder exist at Thomas Balch Library. John or John William Anders or Andrews was in the 1810 census for Waterford, Loudoun County, Virginia. In 1820 Census for Waterford, Loudoun County, Virginia is Susan Andrews with four boys and two girls but no husband. Another man did live on the farm. Ages again match our relatives. Believe she was our original Andrews or Anders wife. William James married in 1829 but never left Loudoun County. John Anders/Andrews married in 1836 and moved to Muskingum County, Ohio and then Perry County and then to Missouri and Illinois. Frederick T. Andrews married first wife in 1837 in Clarke County, Virginia had a daughter; the wife died and he moved to Muskingum County, Ohio remarried. Later moved to Illinois, then Missouri, then back to Illinois and finally back to Muskingum County, Ohio. Again these three could have been brothers or Cousins. DNA has all three were R-U198 haplogroup, Superfamily A subhaplogroup, R-S4056, and JFS3010,3011,3012, and 3014. The girls may have been Mary Elizabeth Andrews and/or Ann Andrews and/or Harriet Andrews. Match two of them with autosomal DNA and the third died in Loudoun County but her husband and son moved to same township as Fredrick and John in Muskingum County, Ohio.
