I am only 4 generations from when my GG Grand father came over from England but I am getting all of the messages about the oldest family name in America came from all of these great royal or titled people from which I came how do I get there?????? Please help

First of all you have to add all informations you can find about your William Montgomerie. Middle name and biryh. You can look at passengŕs list or ommegration lists from America. Are you sure W illiam is brotish. About same time a Swedish William Montgomry moved to America. He is related to Aĺexander. If you find birth yesr to your Wiĺiam we will be able to merge him with one of the other Williams. Check willscand testaments for Great Brittain.
