Thank you for trying Erica Howton
Let me know how I can help. I am trying to attach the correct MOTHER of RUTH HOWKINS, daughter of ANTHONY HOWKINS.
There is a page in the Hartford County Court Records which shows that ANTHONY HOWKINS, his son JOHN HOWKINS and his daughter SARAH HOWKINS are all deceased as of that date, which is 5 Dec 1678, and Sarah having an interest in her father's and her brother's estates by will, and now she being deceased without a will, her share will be divided between her four sisters - Mary Judd, Ruth Hart, Elizabeth Brinsmead & Hannah Howkins. So I believe the ANTHONY HOWKINS of WINDSOR deceased 1674 is Ruth's father and the first wife of Anthony her mother. Probably not Isabel Brown or Ann Welles Thompson who married Anthony Howkins AFTER the 1649 birth of Ruth and after the death of her husband Thompson in 1655.
Isabel Brown Hoskins was still alive in 1678, she died in 1698 and Anthony Hoskins died in 1707.

On the same page from the court record ANTHONY HOSKINS is being fined for his abusive and unpeaceable demeanor towards John Hicks and Matthew Grant.
