Problem with this page?

When I first found these reports, they created nice compact reports, such as pictured here: http://help.geni.com/entries/100550587-Descendant-reports-have-mult...

Then in August I tried, and there was at least one blank line between each line - sometimes multiple blank lines, making the report way too long.

Now I tried again, and the blank lines are gone, but the spacing between lines and/or the type is larger than in the report linked to above.

Is this a function of adobe and preferences set in it (I only use Public Computers for connecting to the Internet) - or is this something Geni controls - and are the changes due to changes Geni has made?

It was actually a bug fix -- the first pass at these PDFs were ignoring the font size on the page (for non-header text, anyway). On-screen the name is larger than the dates and locations, but in the PDF they were all the same. I enhanced the code to reflect the font size as it appears on-screen, which is why you're now seeing a larger font in the PDFs for the names.

Mike Stangel - I way prefer the way it printed out in July. Now reports which before took less than a page, and still appear on screen as less than one full screen, take up well over a page of print. Which does not make sense if what you are doing is having the PDF reflect what is on-screen.

Any way you could at least cut down on the line-spacing between lines?
Considering that the names come out underlined, I see no reason why they need to be larger as well. And/or possibly use a smaller font? (the print in the PDF is way bigger than what we see on-screen!! - And no, I do not want the on-screen print made larger!)

(Tho I must say - am way glad the single and multiple blank lines between lines of text was only a temporary aberration )
