Johannes was bapt. in Jamaica LOng Island 19 May 1717 as son of Jan Snedeker and Catherine Polhemus (second wife)
He marr. Ariaentje Dorland who is named daughter deceased in will of Garret Dorland 30 Dec. 1773 pr. 14 May 1783 wife od Johannes Snedeker, their children in will are John, Garret, Rem, Abraham and Teunis, the witness/executor is son in law Johannes Snedeker. He died 3 Sept. 1792
