Mary was found in the 1860 & 1870 Laurel Co Ky census married to James Owens. Their son Matt was not listed. Laurel Co Ky doesn't have an 1880 or 1890 census record. But Mary was found as Pollie Owens married to James Owens in the 1900 and 1910 Campbell Co Tenn census. In 1900 Matt Owens was listed as living in the house with his wife Eliza Owens and 2 sons James W Owens and John D Owens. James W Owens was born in 1896 in Campbell Co Tenn. John D Owens was born 1899 in Campbell Co Tenn. Matt Owens and Eliza Harris was married in 1896. I have the census records, death certificates and marriage certificate for Matt and Eliza. The 1900 census says Pollie and James had 10 children. But only Matt was listed as living in the house.
