Why is it that Divorced couples or Ex-partners marked as such coming down in a gedcom file "blood" when they have children together - THIS SHOUL NOT be happening - I also noticed profiles vies these spouse marked as such do not show up also

I have done work for @ttps://Yvonne E. doing the majority on line some I have since I started in Family Tree Maker pulling data and documentation f for the profiles.

This is very frustrating and its been occurring for well over 2 years - I noticed it in my personal tree - which I have put on the"back burner" in order to help a couple of people out to find the genealogical trees. Back then I was told it was not occurring by a curator BUT IT was and it still is

This is very frustrating and a person ha to walk the tree backwards to try and pick-up these spouse and their parents if they have children and often have to hunt and peck for the Ex/divorced spouse/partner because it does not show in the profiles not even the children's!

This is also now seems possibly to be occurring in profiles when no marriage date is entered because it is either unknown or now available

Are you saying that these spouses do not appear in a gedcom file exported from Geni when they should?
I would recommend trying to generate a very small gedcom file that shows the problem (only 10 entries if possible), and file a support request using the "help" function showing exactly which partner is missing, and exactly which parameters you used for generating the gedcom. That will make it a lot easier to diagnose for the staff.

YES - finally someone is getting what I am saying -

I done that Harald with my step-son who has 7 marriages of which 2 marriages generated 4 children apiece and a relationship generated 1 and they ignored me I even generated a print out showing that the problem existed - so I went in and marked all his marriages as none divorced and put the information in the about me and also as divorced in the "place of marriage filed" after

I turned it in back then as A " Bug ticket " I was told it did not exist and was not a "major issue" to me it is a "MAJOR ISSUE" when children exist of a divorced marriage or of an ex-partner of a relationship than no longer exists

I am working on the file for Yvonne - its got about 5000 profiles - I will see how I can show that this is happening with it when I go through to check for disconnected spouses
